Moni's Cloth

I have seen several waffle stitch cloths, and several with a slipped stitch. 

Now here is a Slipped Stitch Waffle Knit Dishcloth

Materials: 1 ball cotton dishcloth yarn (pattern seems to work best in variegated yarn)

3.5 mm knitting needles

Cast on 40 stitches.

Knit 1 row for border.

Knit 2 more rows for border, slipping the first stitch purl wise.

Row 1: (right side): Slip first stitch purl wise, knit the rest.

Row 2: Slip first stitch purl wise, K 2, purl to last 3 stitches, k 3.

Row 3: Slip first stitch purl wise, K 2, slip one stitch knit wise (P 2, slip 1 knit wise 1) 11 times, k 3.

Row 4: Slip first stitch purl wise, K 2, slip 1 purl wise (K 2, slip 1 purl wise 1) 11 times, k 3.

Repeat these 4 rows, 14 more times.

Knit last 3 rows, all with slipping the first stitch of each row purl wise.

Bind off and weave in ends.
